Addressing unmet clinical needs in major chronic conditions.

SCROLL

Cardiovascular

Heart Failure
When the heart's pumping function weakens or the heart tissue hardens, it fails to provide sufficient blood to the body's organs. Symptoms include difficulty breathing, fatigue, reduced exercise capacity, and swelling, especially in the lower limbs and abdomen. These symptoms caused by heart failure significantly affect an individual's quality of life and can even be life-threatening.
Innovative Therapies
In recent years, interventional heart failure (IHF) has been widely discussed as a complementary therapy when drug treatments fail. Leveraging innovative techniques involving electrophysiology and neuroregulation, IHF can effectively restore heart function, delay the progression of heart failure, and improve patients' quality of life.

Urology

Lower Urinary Tract Syndromes
Lower urinary tract syndrome (LUTS), characterized by symptoms such as urinary frequency, urgency, pain, nocturia, and difficulty urinating, can significantly reduce patients’ quality of life.
Innovative Therapy
In recent years, urologists and patients have increasingly favored minimally invasive surgery, and new, minimally invasive techniques continue to emerge. Innovative catheter interventions, energy ablation, and neuro-modulation are widely applied in the treatment of lower urinary tract diseases. These new technologies significantly reduce the complication rates of traditional surgery, shortens recovery times, and improve patients' quality of life.

Respiratory

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a respiratory system condition than can include emphysema, bronchitis, and asthma. Common causes include infections, smoking, exposure to secondhand smoke, radon, asbestos, or other forms of air pollution. COPD is the most common respiratory system disease, with 220 million COPD patients worldwide in 2020.
Innovative Therapy
For patients who do not respond well to drug treatment or are intolerant, emerging treatment methods include pulmonary targeted radiofrequency ablation and unidirectional lung valve technology (i.e., endobronchial valves). These approaches involve mechanical or neuro-ablative techniques to alleviate airway obstructions or otherwise increase lung capacity, effectively treating COPD.

Gastrointestinal

Gastrointestinal Diseases
Functional GI diseases are characterized by chronic GI symptoms that arise due to dysfunction of the digestive system. Structural GI diseases occur when there is a change or problem within the structure of the GI tract.
Innovative Therapy
Digestive endoscopy can be used to diagnose and treat various digestive system diseases, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), obesity, multiple cancers, and possibly diabetes. In addition, digestive endoscopy can also be used to perform a variety of examinations and procedures, such as gastroscopic polypectomies, esophageal variceal ligations, and colonoscopies.
